For ten years, I have dedicated my time to supporting pet parents with nurturing and nourishing their cats, dogs and other animals using holistic and natural wellness strategies. My journey into this work was inspired by my deep love for animals and reverence for the ways that Nature supports all animals - human and non human.

During an almost two decade career as a lawyer, I felt a growing inner yearning to focus my work purely on helping animals to live happier lives. There came a juncture in my career where I had switched from a corporate legal career to one that focussed on animal protection and animal law.

Upon returning to the corporate human-focussed sector, that inner yearning was brought to the surface. I was inspired to change my career to one that focussed on helping animals.

With my love for natural wellness and animals, I found animal naturopathy and knew instantly that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my days.

Through the experience of being a pet nutritionist and then an animal naturopath, it became very clear to me that the majority of pet health products available on the market fell short. They contained cheap fillers, low quality ingredients, artificial preservatives, colours and flavours, and in many instances, they weren’t actually benefiting pet health.

As I witnessed patterns in pet health through the work I was doing, I started to develop a line of natural pet health products to support my clients’ animals and other’s. I then started to receive requests from my clients to develop new products to support their animals health challenges.

Over the years, I have refined and reformulated these products. I felt that they needed their own special home and this is how Three Rays Animal Apothecary was created.
